IndusInd Bank Launches ‘Samman RuPay Credit Card’ Exclusively for Government Staff

IndusInd Bank, in collaboration with National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has launched the UPI-enabled ‘IndusInd Bank Samman RuPay Credit Card’ for government sector employees. This credit card is specially designed to provide them with a range of exclusive benefits and enhance their overall banking experience.

Some of the key features of the Samman RuPay Credit Card are:

  • No joining fee and a low annual fee of Rs. 199, which can be waived by spending Rs. 75,000 in a year.
  • 1% cashback on all retail spends up to Rs. 20,000 in a statement cycle, with a maximum of Rs. 200 per month.
  • One complimentary movie ticket up to Rs. 200 every six months via BookMyShow.
  • 1% waiver on fuel surcharge and railway surcharge on transactions up to Rs. 5,000.
  • Zero cash advance fee and zero liability protection in case of card loss or theft.
  • Travel insurance cover for lost baggage, delayed baggage, loss of passport, lost ticket and missed connection.

The Samman RuPay Credit Card is also enabled with UPI, which allows cardholders to link their card to any UPI app and make payments by scanning QR codes or entering merchant UPI IDs. This feature makes the card more convenient and secure for online and offline transactions.
