IREDA Launches Vigilance Journal ‘Pahal

The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), a government enterprise under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), has launched its vigilance journal ‘Pahal’ on January 25, 2024. The journal aims to provide insights into the vigilance-related matters of the organization and foster awareness and transparency among its stakeholders.

The journal was unveiled by Shri Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman and Managing Director of IREDA, at the registered office of IREDA in New Delhi. Shri Ajay Kumar Sahani, Chief Vigilance Officer, along with other senior officials, attended the ceremony.

Shri Das expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, highlighting the potential impact of increased employee and children participation in ‘Pahal’. He emphasized the importance of fostering awareness among children through their contributions, such as articles and poems, which can play a pivotal role in promoting renewable energy development.

“We believe that encouraging active participation from our employees and their children in the Vigilance Journal will not only enhance awareness but also create a more profound impact on Renewable Energy Development,” Shri Das said.

The launch of ‘Pahal’ marks a significant step towards transparency, accountability, and the promotion of renewable energy initiatives by IREDA. IREDA is a leading financial institution dedicated to financing renewable energy projects in India. It has financed more than 2700 projects with a cumulative loan disbursement of over Rs. 57,000 crore.
