Keus Smart Home Secures Rs 100 Cr Funding from OAKS

Keus, a leading smart home automation company in India, has announced that it has raised Rs 100 crore in a Series A funding round led by OAKS, a venture capital firm focused on consumer internet and technology sectors.

The Hyderabad-based startup, which was founded in 2018, offers a range of wireless home automation solutions that enable users to control lights, curtains, climate, media, and security systems through intuitive interfaces such as smart consoles, voice assistants, mobile apps, and motion sensors.

Keus claims to have automated and transformed over 1500 premium and luxury homes in Hyderabad alone, with plans to expand to other cities such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai. The company also boasts of having a strong network of over 350 architects and interior designers who recommend Keus to their clients.

According to the company’s website, Keus aims to create products that combine design and technology to enhance the living experience of current and future homes. The company says that its smart home system is compatible with popular platforms such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit.

The fresh funds will be used by Keus to scale up its operations, product development, marketing, and customer acquisition. The company also plans to launch new products and services in the smart home segment, such as smart locks, smart cameras, smart speakers, and smart appliances.

“We are thrilled to partner with OAKS in our journey to become India’s go-to smart home solution for premium living. We believe that smart homes are not just about gadgets and gizmos, but about creating an elevated lifestyle that is seamless, convenient, and enjoyable. With OAKS’ expertise and support, we are confident that we can achieve our vision of making every home a Keus home,” said Ravi Teja, co-founder and CEO of Keus.

“Keus is a pioneer in the smart home automation space in India, with a strong product portfolio, a loyal customer base, and a proven business model. We are impressed by the team’s passion for innovation and design, as well as their deep understanding of the Indian market.
