Skoda has launched a new variant of its popular sedan, the Slavia, called the Style Edition. The Style Edition is based on the top-end Style trim and comes with some exclusive features and cosmetic enhancements. It is priced at Rs 19.13 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 30,000 more than the regular Style variant.
What’s new in the Style Edition?
The Style Edition is available only with the 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine that produces 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The Style Edition also gets three colour options: Candy White, Brilliant Silver and Tornado Red.
The exterior of the Style Edition gets some black elements, such as the ORVMs, roof foil and B-pillars. It also sports an ‘Edition’ badge on the B-pillars and the steering wheel. The interior gets a ‘Slavia’ branded scuff plate and a dual dash camera. The Style Edition also features puddle lamps with the Skoda logo projection.
What are the other features of the Skoda Slavia?
The Slavia is based on the MQB-A0-IN platform that was developed specifically for India. It offers a spacious cabin with stone beige and black luxe interiors. It also comes with a segment-first electrically adjustable driver and co-driver seats, a sunroof, a 25.4 cm touchscreen infotainment system with subwoofer, six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill hold control and tyre pressure monitoring system.
The Slavia has also received a 5-star rating for adult and child safety from Global NCAP, making it one of the safest sedans in India.
