The event is considered to be the largest peaceful gathering of people in the world, with millions of devotees taking a dip in the holy rivers to wash away their sins and attain salvation. The next Mahakumbh will be held in Prayagraj in 2025, and the state government has made a provision of Rs 2500 crore for its preparation. Ramayan and Vedic Research Centre

The budget has also proposed funds for an international Ramayan and Vedic research centre in Ayodhya, which will be dedicated to the study and dissemination of knowledge related to Ramayan, Vedas and other ancient scriptures. The centre will also conduct research on various aspects of Indian culture, history, philosophy and spirituality. The centre will aim to attract scholars and researchers from across the world, as well as to promote awareness and appreciation of India’s rich and diverse cultural legacy.

Road Development
