In a landmark development for India’s defense sector, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a prestigious Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking, has been awarded a substantial contract by the Indian Army. These orders span a diverse range of products, including Electronic Warfare (EW) Testers, Medical Systems (Exports), Consumables and Batteries for Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), Night Vision Devices Spares, and Services. With these orders, BEL’s cumulative order intake in the financial year 2023-24 has reached an impressive Rs. 23,176 crores (excluding taxes), marking a record achievement for the company.
